One of our favourite events of the year - celebrating Christmas with the lovely folks of Castletown!

Traditional carol service featuring a special appearance from our brand new Youth Band!

The Band will make its way around the village of Ovington, playing carols and sampling mulled wine and mince pies as we go, before playing a short Christmas concert in Ovington Social Club.

A joint performance of the Durham Hymns with Voices of Hope and The Centenary Choir. The concert will also feature our Youth Band, who will perform a new composition written especially for them by our Youth Band Coordinator, Will Roberts.

We'll be taking part in the parade from the town to the pit village which starts at 1.30pm and finishes at 2pm followed by a one hour performance on the bandstand 3pm till 4pm.
