Dunston Silver Band - 2012 North of England 4th Section Champions

Dunston Silver Band are a 3rd Section Brass Band based in the North of England so far this year we have competed in the North of England Regional competition where we came 3rd in the 3rd section and the Durham League competition. Last year we were the North of England 4th Section Champions having won the 4th Section in The Dolphin Centre, Darlington.

Dunston Silver Band is based at the Dunston Community Centre, near Gateshead in North East England, further details can be found on the Rehearsal Details page.

Dunston Silver Band works hard and has fun. We try to play to a high standard and make sure that we enjoy ourselves at the same time. We have a varied programme, ranging from traditional brass band arrangements to more modern pop and film tunes. We practise on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, further details are available on the Rehearsal Details page . We also try to organise regular social nights, including 10 pin bowling, evening meals and pub tours!
